TERMS AND CONDITIONS

This terms and conditions page constitutes the comprehensive agreement between the parties involved in the sale of the listed product(s) in an Invoice. No additional conditions or terms, whether listed in the Buyer's order or provided in prior or subsequent communications, will be binding upon the Seller.

ACCEPTANCE OF ORDERS All purchases are accepted and processed according to these terms and conditions based on the purchase acknowledgement. The acknowledgment is considered a copy of the order or an electronic transaction. Upon the acknowledgement, the Seller is required to provide the applicable goods for delivery.

DELIVERY Due to COVID-19, lead times may be extended - an additional 2 weeks should be allowed from the stated lead time.

Curbside delivery service entails that the item will be delivered to the curb at the end of the driveway. Placement of the item on the driveway, sidewalk, or inside the home, as well as package removal, is not provided. A valid street address is required for order processing, and any errors in the delivery address must be reported within 24 hours of placing an order. If a product is shipped to the wrong address, the buyer is responsible for any additional shipping and handling charges.

The Seller takes no responsibility for expenses, loss, or damage of goods in case of non-delivery by the specified date. Customers must inspect deliveries for damages and report them within 48 hours of the shipment/delivery date. Failure to comply with these rules disqualifies customers from merchandise replacement. The Seller is not liable for transportation, shipping, removal, labor, installation charges, or costs related to replacing the Product.

ORDER MODIFICATION OR CANCELLATION The order may only be canceled with the Seller's approval in writing. Changes to the order can be made within 48 hours without fees, unless the items have already shipped. After delivery to a carrier, cancellations will only be accepted with a 20% cancellation fee of the order price, and shipping costs are non-refundable. Special orders are non-refundable.

PAYMENT The Buyer has 30 days to fully pay the order price and acknowledges the obligation to compensate the Seller for costs incurred while collecting past due sums or other owed sums, including attorneys' fees and court costs.

TAXES Government-imposed taxes and applicable freight costs are included in the invoice total.

LIMITED WARRANTY Trendy Doors provides a limited warranty for all products and services, which requires professional installation by a licensed professional or company. All warranty claims must be filed following the instructions on the warranty page.

DIMENSIONAL TOLERANCE Specific dimensional information and tolerances are determined at the time of shipment and may be affected by temperature and moisture variations during shipment and storage. There are recommended prefit clearances after installation for non-fire rated doors.

PRICES The Buyer should be aware that the Seller is not responsible for government-imposed taxes or charges on the goods upon sale or transfer. Prices are subject to change without notice.

TRANSPORTATION AND RISK OF LOSS The Seller determines the route and method of shipment unless the Buyer provides different instructions. Ownership of the goods is transferred to the Buyer upon delivery to the selected destination. Refusal to accept the product signifies the Buyer's repudiation of the document.

WARRANTY AND DISCLAIMER The Seller aims to present updated information about the products and services but does not warrant the accuracy of the information. Customers are responsible for checking with the managers for the most relevant information about any goods or services.

INDEMNIFICATION The Buyer agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold the Seller (and related entities) harmless against any claims, losses, damages, liability, and expenses arising from deficiencies or product defects caused by improper use, storage, or breach of the terms and conditions.

HOW TO MEASURE WARP To measure warp, use a taut string or straight-edge on the concave face of the door, whether diagonally, horizontally, or vertically. Measure at the point of maximum distance between the taut string or straight-edge and the face of the door. Ensure the door is open when measuring for warp (lock not latched into strike). One person can measure warp by using a string and taping one or both ends onto the face of the door, holding it taut. Do not measure warp in relation to the door frame. It's important to note that a door may not fit into the frame properly but is not warped. In such cases, check the frame -- it must be set plumb and square, and jambs must not be twisted or out of alignment. Any claim for warp may be deferred for up to one year after project completion to allow doors to acclimate to temperature and humidity conditions.

ALLOWABLE WARP TOLERANCE FOR WOOD DOORS For 1-3/4 inch (44 mm) or thicker doors:

For sizes up to 3'-6" x 7'-0" (1050 mm x 2100 mm), the maximum allowable warp is 1/4 inch (6.4 mm). For larger sizes, the maximum allowable warp in any 3'-6" x 7'-0" (1050 mm x 2100 mm) section is also 1/4 inch (6.4 mm). For 1-3/8 inch (35 mm) doors:

For sizes up to 3'-0" x 7'-0" (900 mm x 2100 mm), the maximum allowable warp is 1/4 inch (6.4 mm). Larger sizes are not addressed in this standard.
